Andhra Pradesh started giving cash to eligible farmers on 16th May, Monday under the Ysr Rythu Bharosa Payment Status PM Kisan scheme. Rs 5,500 was given across the board. On Monday, only Rs 5,000 was paid out by the government as part of YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme. Under the PM Kisan scheme an extra amount of Rs 2000 is to be released before the end of this month.
