Khatron Ke Khiladi: Fear Factor is the Indian counterpart of the famed American franchise and focuses on stunts. This show first premiered on Sony TV as Fear Factor India, and was later sold to Colors TV. It had its first launch on 21 July 2008. Khatron Ke Khiladi Made in India returned on 1 August 2020 and contestants from the previous year’s season returned.

The season began airing on Colours from July 27, 2024, to September 29, 2024, and also available digitally via JioCinema. The season is set in the capital of Romania, Bucharest and is hosted by Rohit Shetty. This season had Karan Veer Mehra as the winner, followed by Krishna Shroff as the first runner-up. The season was scheduled to be launched in May 2024 and filming is set to commence the following month.

Development of production:
On Colors TV, which is Darling’s home network, the show was commissioned in May 2024. Previous to this, on 22 May 2024, we saw participants at the Mumbai airport before they departed for Romania. On 3rd July 2024, the participants were present again at the Mumbai airport post their return from Romania.
Filming:
The principle photography of the series commenced on 7th June 2024 in Romania. This was done by Rohit Shetty who posted a video on his Instagram profile explaining that filming has commenced. On 1st July 2024, the Cuban contestants in Romania had a broadcast announcing the end of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 season.

Khatron Ke Khiladi 14: Kashmiri model-rapper Asim Riaz had a violent confrontation with the host of the show Rohit Shetty and other contestants which led to his eviction in the middle of the show. Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 14 episode 1 aired on July 27 in Colors TV and JioCinema and ever since Asim came under fire for ‘disrespecting’ his fellow contestants and even more to Rohit and the crew of the show. Asim appears to have offered an explanation for the criticism.

He then claimed that he did an impossible challenge and dared the Khatron Ke Khiladi staff to ‘do it in front of him’. He also stated that he ‘will not take a single rupee’ from the show. After that Rohit gave the example of how they practise a stunt and explain what it is in a video showing the stunt’s completion without anyone being harmed, which was all for the sake of safety because they do everything prior to the contestants doing it. After watching the rehearsal clip, Asim was dismissive of it, claiming he had no issue.
Nonetheless, he and the presenter of the show Asim had a tangential confrontation themselves where Rohit maintained that Asim was impolite. Previously, Asim had called his competitors ‘losers’ which prompted the ire of Rohit. “Kal bhi tune bahut bakwas ki (Yesterday also you said a lot of nonsense).” The filmmaker tacked on, “This is what I am saying listen or I will raise you up and crash you here. Do not act in this manner with me.”Then Asim started approaching Rohit, before the Khatron Ke Khiladi team restrained him. After the episode of his exit from KKK 14 dropped, Asim has been posting some cryptic messages. Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 14 started streaming on Jio Capital and airing on Colors Network from twenty-seventh July 2022 with new episodes every Saturday and Sunday.

The series began from 15 July 2023 to 14 October 2023 in Colors TV and its digital capabilities are projected in JioCinema. On 23 May 2023, Colors TV announced the series’s launch. Divyanka Tripathi was also seen at the Mumbai Airport before her flight to Cape Town on 20 June 2023. The finalists were also seen at the Mumbai Airport after coming back from South Africa, Cape Town on 5 July 2023.

Rohit Shetty took to his page as he made the announcement of the same. On 3rd of July, 2023, Rohit Shetty declared Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 wrapped up in the Country of Cape Town after a 50-day schedule. All the contestants came together for the shooting of the finale episode on 2nd October 2023 at Film City, Mumbai.
